Christian Jackson McCaffrey (born June 7, 1996), known by the initials CMC,^[1] is an American professional football running backfor the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Stanford Cardinal and was selected by the Carolina Panthers eighth overall in the 2017 NFL draft. As a sophomore in 2015, McCaffrey was named AP College Football Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. He holds the NCAArecord for most all-purpose yards in a season (3,864).
